Recently purchased (last 2 weeks) an ORIS TITAN 300m from my local authorised dealer, lovely watch I WAS very pleased with it.until now! Went onto the Oris website and registered, then found the page ('My Watches') where if you registered your watch they would extend the guarantee by a further 12 months, damm good idea so I went for it.

That's when I started to get worried, the site didn't recongise the watches serial number??????? Have just come back from the dealers, they've had a go but had the same amount of luck as I'd had, they tried several of the watches they had in stock and the system recongised them, so at best I've a watch that can't have the extended guarantee or at worst have I got a 'dud'?? The dealer has sent a mail to ORIS asking for comments but have told me there's a big watch show at the moment so could be some time befor I get an anwser, what's my next move??:? More help please chaps.just had a reply to the mail I sent ORIS (copied to the AD) they've confirmed that they (ORIS) can't 'find' the serial number in their system either!!!!!!

Hutch rebel wood stove manual free. Double wall fireplace insert in action. This heating season, I think I had a fire one day in November, 4 days in December and one day in January, then used solar heating the rest of the time. I use this fireplace insert to back up my solar heating system on cold, cloudy days. The natural gas furnace hasn't been on in over a decade.

As far as I'm concerned I want the AD to replace the watch, have I the right to do this? What would the members of this forum do? Have any of you heard of anything like this before?

Any help, would be most welcome.:?The watch is kosher if you bought it from an AD. Wait a bit longer.

If you go back and manage to change it, chances are the watch will be even newer and they won't be able to trace that one yet either. If you bought the watch from an Oris AD, and emailed Oris with the serial number, then given that their system showed it as not yet sold (which is very easy to believe) then was their reply simply 'no, we've no idea about that'? I'd be surprised if the reply was that aloof. I think what happens is that your AD sends off his paperwork for your watch. Oris then know that your watch has been sold, update their database & you can then extend the warranty on your watch. The watches at your ADs that are already showing on the database may be NOS or inter shop transfers..I bought an Oris Diver SS last year from Austin Kaye. It arrived at 10am in the delivery, I collected it at 10.30 and registered it on the website at 11.00.

I'm sure Oris only have one database for their watches, so they already know it was purchased by AK,AK don't need to do anything other than stamp the warranty card! I think the registration form simply matches the serial number against the production database,It sounds like a database issue, give them another email or telephone call, I'm sure all will be well, but if not I'd get them to request the AD swaps the watch, they'll be happier if the manufacturer asks than if you 'jump up & down' in the showroom:lol.

Had a phone call yesterday afternoon from the AD, they had just come off the phone from ORIS, could I please take the watch, box, paperwork etc: back to the shop, they were ordering me another watch which would take 7-10 days to deliever.:o Took my missues for support.nice man in a suit (been in the shop a lot & had never seen him before) went over the watch with a fine tooth combe!!!!! He agreed with shop staff, watch should be replaced, they had just taken delievery of two 1000m small seconds watches (new clasp design) & I fell in love with the one with orange hands so a deal was done (once we'ed checked the serial number on line) and we walked out of the shop with 250 grams of ORIS on my wrist.

Can't praise the AD enough!!!!!!! Will post pics as soon as I can, trying to stop walking in circles (weight on my wrist:lol::lol: ) trundle.
