I decided to start a new thread since my previous one on 'Empty Project' is really on a different topic. I started a new project to use a PIC16F1619. I went through the different project setup steps OK until I got to step 6, Select Compiler. The PBP3 tool chain was not listed, only MPASM. The release text file that I got when purchasing the PBP3 (Gold) package stated that the 16F1619 was added for version 3.0.8 (the version I have). Also, the PIC16F1619.INFO and PIC16F1619.PBPINC files were included and are in the directories with the other.INFO and.PBPINC files.

I just tried this with the full version of PBP3 and it let me compile successfully with the 16F1619 as a target using either MPLABX 2.35 or MPLABX 3.20 Just to be clear, here's the steps I used: 1) Make sure you have the original PBP toolchain plugin installed for MPLABX, and that it's working. If you're using MPLABX V2 you can use both the PBP Tool Chain and the PicBasic Language Syntax plugins, but if you're using MPLABX V3 you should uninstall the PicBasic Language Syntax plugin as it's not compatable. 2) Locate the MPLABX plugin user folder. You should be able to find its location in the 'AppData' folder under your user name, and if you have multiple versions of MPLABX installed you'll see multiple folders for each version, so be sure to use the correct folder.
